Kento has come to Tokyo from the countryside with his girlfriend, Rimu, to open a cafe, a dream he has had for many years. The two work hard together to get the cafe off the ground, but suddenly, the owner, Hatanaka, shows up to inspect the cafe, and Kento raises his hand against Hatanaka in response to his rude behavior. Enraged, Hatanaka issues an eviction order. Having seen firsthand how hard Rimu has worked and dreamed, Rimu sincerely begs Hatanaka to rescind her boyfriend's rudeness and eviction order. In response, Hatanaka accepts his terms, but instead forces Rimu to be his host for a month.
