Worried about her father-in-law, Saburo, who lives alone, the Naruse couple began living together. Kokomi was genuinely happy to be living with him and loved him like a real father, but her husband, Kazuaki, was not happy about her living with Saburo, who had previously run off to play without paying any attention to his family. Constant arguments with Kazuaki led Kokomi to grow increasingly sad. Then, one night, after arguing with Kazuaki, Kokomi stormed out of the bedroom, seeking a warmth that went beyond that of a father-daughter relationship with Saburo, who was always by her side to comfort her.
