On a summer night, a mahjong match is taking place on the second floor of a Japanese house. The men around the mahjong table get more and more excited as the match heats up. Meanwhile, downstairs, the beautiful wife, Natsumi, is keeping an eye on what is happening upstairs. Her husband is a gambling addict who has dabbled in all sorts of gambling, spending all his money and losing, then spending more and losing... he has fallen into a negative spiral.
